Storage

Get Organised with L3Home’s Variety of Storage Furniture

Get a head start into decluttering by choosing the ideal form of storage space all your stuff. While traditional storage such as chests of drawers and book shelves are great, contemporary designs like wall ladders personalise your character preferences. Let’s look at some categories of storage furniture you will love to have in your home or office.

Anything with Shelves

There are two main reasons why we need these storage types; for tidying up and for displaying. Shelving-type storage such as Shelving Units, Bookcases, Bookshelves, Display Cabinets, Wall Shelving & Ladders help you organise your things so they are easier to access. Once you compartmentalise your things into vertical or horizontal storage, it’s also easier on the eyes.

Storage isn’t always about hiding, sometimes it’s about exhibiting as well. So anything from books, to ornaments, collectables, or trophies and so on can be put out on display. Our personal favourite are wall shelfs and ladders - functional yet stylish!

Anything with Drawers

Drawers are great for hiding stuff. The most common household drawers come as a Chest of Drawers. Tallboys, Dresser & Mirrors and Dressing Tables are great for storing more personal items of yours too. These are mostly kept in the bedroom and they are used to store clothing, undergarments, makeup, cosmetics, and other intimate items.

Sideboards, Buffets, Consoles, Cabinets

What about the larger items like dinnerware, wine glasses, serving dishes for the dining room? These are most commonly stored in sideboards, buffets, or consoles. A buffet is a clever option for dining room storage. In the living room, sideboards and consoles work to keep your big things hidden but ready when you need them. Your board games, electronics supplies, and books can be stored safely in sideboards or consoles. If you’re looking to tuck something away and forget about it for a while, these options are perfect.

Baskets & Boxes

The most traditional of all furniture from the dawn of time are baskets and boxes. Small boxes and baskets help with categorisation and filing. They are easy to transport and ideal if you move around a bit. Bigger boxes like trunks or Blanket Boxes help tidy up mess. Children’s toys, linen, blankets, pillow cases, and anything scattered around the house can be scooped up and piled in to trunks.

Kids’ Storage

What’s the difference between kids’ storage and general storage? Kids’ storage is more fun! Imagine having a tepee-shaped bookcase. How cool is that? By adding eccentric shapes and concepts to furniture, we customise storage space for the young ones. And if you’re an adult but still a child on the inside, you can get them too!
